The no hair rule has been hair since the begging of the subreddit (which is older than the wiki). The rules for hair were eased at the February coup of the subreddit and ideologies like Stalinism and marxism were allowed to have facial hair but practically nothing else. This rule didn't appear out of anything it was here before you were in the community. Look at the art guidelines page "2. Do NOT use hair on balls, especially facial hair. The only exceptions are Apoliticism and Gerontocracy." to be fair these haven't been updated but read the rules of a community you join before you join it is that so hard?
Why should I care if I'm a terrible mod for you? I don't care about you. You're emblematic of what is wrong with this community so take your leave if you want the community is better off without literal children crying about their favorite series getting removed from the fictional movements list.
